THE STORY BEHIND THE COLLECTION

The sea is never just
one shade of blue.

It turns mint-green in the light, deep teal in the shadows, and warm pink where coral catches the sun. Blue Current carries these colours into a world of shells, flowing leaves and small ocean encounters.

A familiar language of Mahjong, with a little wonder in every detail.

An ocean within the numbers.

Look inside the navy numerals: coral, shells, a sailboat and small sea creatures. Above them, paired sea leaves give the Bams their own rhythm.

Colour, all the way around.

The photographed edges reveal lime-yellow, cyan-blue and translucent teal layers. White faces catch soft reflections while the sea motifs remain crisp.

Eight encounters along the reef.

Turtle, fish, jellyfish, dolphin, starfish, crab, angelfish and ray. Flowing Winds and a pink-haired mermaid Joker complete this ocean story.

How do 44 designs become 160 tiles?44

The decorated artwork library has 43 identities. Repeated copies form the 152-tile playing core; eight spare Blanks bring the design configuration to 160. The Blank appears once in the design overview and eight times in the full layout. This is a design configuration, not verification of a factory-packed set.

Are the designs and samples the same version?

The sample photos show earlier artwork, including numbered Flowers and R/G/W Dragon labels. Current design visuals have revised labels, a bird on Bam1 and a closed pearl-shell portal. Confirm the final supplied version with Mahla before ordering.
