清晨没有到来，河谷的颜色正在消失。圣甲虫从沉默而完整的太阳印章中找到最后一束温暖的光。它不知道这束光能否承受风与黑夜，更担心一旦松手，光就会彻底熄灭。于是它紧握印章，向东方迈出第一步。
Dawn has failed to rise, and color is leaving the valley. The Scarab finds one last warmth inside the silent, intact sun seal. It fears that loosening its hold will extinguish the light forever, so it grips the seal and takes the first step east.
“只要光还在，我就会把黎明带回来。”“As long as the light remains, I will carry dawn home.”
三位角色不是三条装饰性线索。Papyrus 给出继续前行的理由，Falcon 给出方向，Cobra 让方向变成真正的行动。
These are not three decorative clues. Papyrus gives the journey a reason, Falcon gives it direction, and Cobra turns direction into action.
纸莎草 / 尼罗河的生命见证者The Papyrus / Witness of the Nile
最暗的河湾里，一根纸莎草仍朝向尚未出现的太阳。它不给捷径，只证明旅程仍值得继续。
At the darkest bend, one Papyrus still leans toward a sun that has not appeared. It offers no shortcut, only proof that the journey still matters.
“只要尼罗河仍在流淌，生命就会再次生长。”“As long as the Nile flows, life will rise again.”
隼 / 天空的引路者The Falcon / Guide of the Sky
隼没有替携光者走完路。它只从高处把河流真正的方向刻进圣甲虫的记忆。
The Falcon does not travel the road for the bearer. From above, it fixes the river's true direction in the Scarab's memory.
“迷雾遮住的是眼前，不是方向。”“Mist may hide the way ahead, but never the direction.”
眼镜蛇 / 黑夜尽头的守卫者The Cobra / Guardian at the Edge of Night
眼镜蛇守住最后的窄路。它不夺走光，只逼携光者决定，恐惧是否有权替自己停下。
The Cobra guards the final passage. It does not steal the light. It forces the bearer to decide whether fear has the right to stop the journey.

胡狼守门人 / 古老门廊的守望者The Jackal Guardian / Keeper of the Ancient Gate
圣甲虫抵达双柱之间，门却没有打开。胡狼守门人看见它完成了路程，也看见最后的光仍被紧紧护在印章里。
The Scarab reaches the twin columns, but the gate remains closed. The Jackal Guardian sees that the bearer has survived the journey. He also sees the last light still held tightly within the seal.
“光不会真正消失，它只是在等待有人把它带回来。”“Light is never truly lost. It waits for someone to carry it home.”
守门人问：你要把它留作自己的太阳，还是让它重新照亮河流？只有放下占有，东方门才会从一堵墙变成一扇门。
The guardian asks: will you keep it as your own sun, or let it shine upon the river again? Only by releasing possession can the eastern wall become a gate.
Scarab 带来光，Papyrus 证明生命仍在，Falcon 给出方向，Cobra 验证勇气。Jackal 决定这些努力能否真正转化为黎明。五个角色缺一，因果链就不完整。
Scarab carries the light. Papyrus proves that life remains. Falcon gives direction, and Cobra tests courage. Jackal decides whether those acts can become dawn. Remove one role, and the chain no longer closes.
光越过门槛，先落到河面，再抵达每一段河岸。东风带回方向，纸莎草长成绿色长廊，蓝莲重新展开。完整的太阳印章仍留在门前，但其中的光不再被任何人紧握，而是在整条河上铺成清晨。
Light crosses the threshold, touches the river, and moves from bank to bank. The East Wind restores direction. Papyrus rises into a green passage, and the blue lotus opens again. The intact sun seal remains at the gate, while its light becomes morning across the river.

This is an original fable inspired by Egyptian imagery. The scarab, papyrus, falcon, cobra, jackal guardian, and temples all serve the story of returning dawn to the Nile; it is not a retelling of Egyptian mythology or a historical event.

This 11-second film shows the finished sample. Four acrylic layers give each tile a solid feel. A white border of about 2 mm frames the recessed face, while the blue side layers and colored artwork catch the light from different angles.
