If your goal is to receive a set in November, start the conversation in October. Share your ZIP code and the date of your first gathering with Mahla, then ask for the current preparation and transit estimates. An October order does not automatically guarantee November arrival. Availability, order preparation and carrier conditions all affect timing.

A simple timeline for a November Mahjong night
- Choose your date first. Write down when you want the set in your hands, not only the date of the gathering. Leave time to unpack it and check its contents.
- Compare and ask in October. Pick a theme and base, check rack fit, and ask Mahla for availability plus a destination-specific shipping estimate. If arrival in November matters, say so before ordering.
- Review the order before payment. Confirm the selected theme, base, quantity, eligible coupon and delivery address. Check preparation time separately from the carrier’s estimated transit time.
- When the set arrives, check it before storing or gifting. Review the tile count and condition while keeping the packaging. Mahla’s policy asks customers to report damaged or missing items within seven days of delivery.
This is a planning sequence, not a delivery schedule. Read the shipping and returns policy and ask about your particular order if you have a fixed deadline.
Check the tiles and the rest of your table
Mahla’s shared Christmas Collection listing specifies 160 tiles: 152 core American Mahjong tiles plus eight blank spares. The spare blanks are separate from the White Dragons used in play. The four theme choices share this listed configuration; choosing a different Christmas story does not change the package count.
Racks, pushers, a mat, an annual card and decorative props are not included in this listing. If you are shopping for someone who already plays, ask which accessories they have. For a new player, make a separate list of what their group uses so a tile gift does not leave an essential item unplanned.

Can I choose a different tile base?
Yes. The Christmas Collection page offers Blush Pink and Marble White. Select the theme and base together, then check that combination in the order summary.
